BONN

Bonn is a city of Germany, of the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia, was the capital of West Germany or Federal Republic of Germany until 1990 and seat of government until 1999. It has a population of 309,869 and is the 19th largest city of Germany. It is the birthplace of the composer Ludwig van Beethoven. Since the 1969 communal reform, the city is divided into four districts: Bonn, Beuel, Hardtberg and Bad Godesberg. On its southern border it borders with the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate.
